Course Outline

The end of life care training programme is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the emotive issues surrounding death, dying and palliative care. It will help health and social care workers to develop their knowledge and understanding of palliative care and its place within end of life care, along with the support services available to the individual and others. Our distance learning end of life care training course will encourage the use of a ‘person-centred’ approach to meet the physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs of people nearing the end of life and their families.

This distance learning end of life care training course is also appropriate for those who have already achieved other sector-specific qualifications in the health care sector, such as the RQF (QCF) diplomas, and need to apply their understanding in a palliative care context.

Course Content
