Diabetes and the Administration of Insulin Training

It is estimated that over 5 million people in the UK are living with some form of diabetes. Of this number, around a quarter require insulin administration, including anyone with Type 1 diabetes.

This means it is almost inevitable that a care provider will need to support people who require insulin administration. Whether you are a hospital, clinic, residential or home care provider, it’s vital that your team have the necessary training to administer insulin safely.

If your organisation provides care for anyone, it’s vital that your team can handle any specific medical care that an individual or resident requires. Naturally this has some exceptions, but with something as common as diabetes, administering insulin should be a skill all care staff should have.

Delivery of this training course will be on-site. We understand that your team is busy, and fitting in a multi-hour training session isn’t easy when there is a lot of work to be done, so by coming to your location, we make it much easier to work around.

We will use your premises to deliver the course for up to 12 delegates. And if this isn’t practical, we offer e-learning and virtual classrooms for some modules or the entire course.

Upon completion, delegates will receive a certificate that is valid for 2 years.
