Assessor Training Qualifications
We provide our Assessor training courses and qualifications to individuals, corporate bookings from other training providers, in-house training teams, colleges and universities.
This Assessor Award will become the minimum requirement for Trainers delivering First Aid at Work qualifications from October 2015.
100% theory based, this can be completed online through our Virtual Learning Environment or it can be added to a number of our Train the Trainer courses.
Learners choosing to complete the full Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement will be able to put this Unit towards their course in the future.
Candidates will only need to complete Unit 1 to achieve the minimum assessor qualification.
Unit 1 – D/601/5313 Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
All trainers who require an assessing qualification, specifically First Aid trainers who by October 2015 will all require this qualification to work to teach and assess First Aid courses.
Assessment is portfolio based through varied coursework assignments. Upon successful completion, the qualification awarded is the Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF (QCF))

Our expert Physical Interventions Trainers at Guardian Angels Training are accredited and approved to deliver the Level 3 Award in Deliverers of Physical Intervention training for the Private Security Industry (RQF (QCF)) qualification for trainee Physical Interventions Trainers.
This training course is a specialist Train the Trainer course which qualifies the delegate to teach a range of Safeguarding Vulnerable People training courses to health and social care workers.
Over the course of five days delegates learn how to deliver their own health and safety training sessions with supreme confidence and competence, covering essential topics.
