You learn a lot simply by doing your job well, and coordinating with your team to share knowledge and develop your skills. However, this doesn’t always help with career progression.
Receiving the proper qualifications from training courses ensures your skills are up to date, but also sets you up for later opportunities. If you’re keen to broaden your horizons, or ensure that you and your team are providing the best care possible, our Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care is one of the best courses for you.
The Leadership & Management for Adult Care training we provide is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge and understanding of advanced health and social care practice or management skills specific to adult care, at the same time as increasing your earnings and career opportunities.

Many advanced training courses are too generic. They provide useful information, but lack the personalisation that benefits individual learners. Based on your role we can adapt the way you learn, and you have full control over the process as well.
Although this is an assessment based course, you’ll still receive support throughout. Your qualified assessor will help you to plan your evidence and build a strong portfolio.
You’ll have access to this support via 1:1 video calls, phone calls, and email. Feedback will be provided on a regular basis via progress reviews and more informal pointers if the assessor thinks you’re off track. They will also discuss how best to use this diploma for career progression, a rare bonus from a training course of this nature.
This is a competence-based qualification assessed through a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your knowledge and leadership in practice. This evidence will be assessed and internally quality assured, with external quality support in place as part of quality assurance arrangements.
The evidence you provide can include:
By collecting this evidence and presenting it, you show more competency within your role. Assessment of yourself and your team is crucial for leadership, so we ensure that you learn how best to apply it.
Upon completion of our Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care course, you’ll have access to further Level 5 study in related areas. As we said, there is always more to learn, and if career progression is your goal, more qualifications open up more opportunities.
