
Wound Care Training
The Wound Care training course has been designed around the day to day duties of health and social care workers who may come into contact with any number of minor to moderate wounds during their normal working practices.
The “Extended Clinical Skills Training” course is designed to provide care home support workers with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform a range of extended clinical procedures and interventions. This course is suitable for healthcare workers who wish to deliver clinical skills previously undertaken by medical or nursing professionals in care home settings.

Participants will undergo practical skills assessments, written assessments, and scenario-based evaluations to evaluate their understanding and competence in various extended clinical skills. Participants will be required to be supervised and assessed within the local workplace as part of a competency assessment. Successful completion will lead to a certification of achievement in “Extended Clinical Skills Development.”
