Oral Suctioning

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our Oral Suction training course gives delegates the skills, knowledge and understanding to carry out oral suctioning on patients and service users in their care. The main purpose of oral suctioning is to help maintain a good airway, improving oxygen flow by removing and build-up of secretions such as vomit or mucous.

Our practical and theoretical course in Oral Suction Training will not only equip delegates with the knowledge they need to carry out the practice but will also provide them with an understanding of the legal and professional implications related to oral suctioning. The course will cover a wide variety of modules to ensure delegates gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject area; these modules will explain what oral suctioning is, why and how it is used, the anatomy of the airway, and more.

The Oral Suction training course is designed for registered nurses, healthcare professionals, and support workers working in areas where oral suctioning is required. The course is delivered by our expert healthcare educators. We ensure that all content is up to date and in line with current best practices.
