Training For Anaphylaxis

Course Description

Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) can kill without immediate first aid management. The UK is one of the top three countries in the world for the incidence of allergies. An estimated 21 million adults suffer from at least one allergy and 6-8% percent of children have a proven food allergy. Proficient training in anaphylaxis is therefore essential in helping to treat allergies and potentially even save lives.

Our Anaphylaxis training course has been designed for anyone who needs training in how and when to use an auto injector for the treatment of anaphylaxis. This course will give delegates the required knowledge, understanding and skill to manage an allergic or anaphylactic reaction within any setting. This Anaphylaxis training course is suitable for staff working in care homes, GP surgeries, health centres, schools, nurseries, or otherwise; any setting in which you may be called upon to assist a person suffering from an anaphylactic reaction.

Delivered by expert healthcare educators with extensive experience, the Anaphylaxis training course will equip delegates with the ability to safely manage anaphylaxis through the use of pre-filled auto injectors such as the Epipen, Jext Emerade or through the use of Patient Group Directives. In order to ensure your staff are competent in providing safe care for those suffering anaphylaxis, we are able to adjust the training programme to offer bespoke content based on the specific needs of your organisation.
