Our team includes over 250 years of experience within nursing, education and management.

All of our team are subject matter experts within their specialist area of practice as well as being highly qualified and experienced. The majority of our team as educated at Masters degree level within health, nursing and education, although some have reached doctorate level within their specialism. All of our educators and consultants offer a value for money solution which adds value and a return on investment to employees, learners, managers and organisations alike.

Alex

is an experienced manager and brings wealth of knowledge around health and social care and regulatory compliance to Guardian Angels as a support role to all our team and customers.  Having worked in the NHS in a variety of roles, including nurse, nurse advisor, specialist practitioner, resuscitation instructor, and training manager, Alex brings to the team a wealth of knowledge, understanding and competence that ensures our team of trainers are currently teaching safe, caring, and evidence based practice.

Angelique

is an experienced dual qualified nurse (RGN and RMN) and clinical director. Her wealth of knowledge and compassion for patient safety and high quality care ensures she delivered informative, enjoyable and educationally sound teaching sessions.  Angelique maintains her clinical competency as a senior nurse clinician (Band 7) within mental health crisis teams, both adult and children's services. 

Alison

is a highly qualified and experienced Tissue Viability Nurse with a particular interest in wound assessment, pressure area care, and leg ulcer management. Alison currently works within the NHS as a clinical nurse specialist (Tissue Viability); however, in her spare time devotes her attention to sharing knowledge and expertise with the next generation of health and social care staff and nurses.

Dr Harry

is our most experience nurse educator and holds a Doctorate and Master’s Degree within Nursing.  Harry is a dual registered nurse (adult and mental health) and has been a qualified nurse educator since 1988. In addition to working as a Nurse Educator at Guardian angels Training, Harry currently holds a Lecturers position at one of the finest universities in the UK, in both positions he can share his expertise and passion of clinical skills and nursing to nurses and health care support staff alike.

Joanna

has a wide clinical, commercial and managerial background that ensures she provides our customers with sound consultancy support.  Her experience has seen Joanna support CQC, NHS, CCG’s and private / commercial health and social care providers.  Joanna is often instructed to support and lead upon; clinical frameworks, clinical governance, educational development, audits and regulatory compliance, project management, healthcare review, change management and process development.

Lorraine

practiced as a Registered Nurse for 9 years, throughout this time she felt that the value of training was greatly underestimated. An opportunity then arose to fulfil her ambitions and become a trainer, assessor and internal verifier within the Health and Care and Clinical Skills Sector.  Lorraine is passionate about the value of training within our industry and the importance of maintaining its quality.  As a specialist she applies a learner lead approach to teaching whilst using both differentiated and accelerated learning techniques.

Louise

is our only Social Work Educator and delivers all our advocacy, care act, safeguarding, mental capacity act and deprivation of liberty safeguarding training from awareness to advanced practitioner level. Louise is a qualified Social Worker and Practice Educator and brings to the team years of complex care experience ranging from children in need, offending behaviour, substance use, mental health and learning disabilities amongst adults.

Marie

is a qualified RGN and Independent Nurse Prescriber with an array of experience and competence within Sexual Health and Family Planning, Rachel leads on our RCN accredited smear taker training. Marie also works for the NHS as a Clinical Lead and Senior Nurse Clinician for a Sexual Health Service.

Rachel

is a qualified RGN and Registered Health Visitor with an array of experience and competence within General Practice, Rachel leads on our immunisation and vaccination training. Her knowledge of the Green Book and NHS guidelines is immense and always ensures a practical session is delivered. No “death by PowerPoint” teaching from Rachel her whole sessions are geared around experiential learning.
