There are some entry requirements for this particular course. You’ll need access to an appropriate workplace and role so you can meet the knowledge and competence requirements. There are no formal prerequisites, but it is advised you have Level 2 literacy/numeracy (or equivalent) and can demonstrate prior achievement at Level 3 or 4.
If you aren’t currently in a leadership role, this isn’t the right course for you, and instead we recommend our Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care (RQF) instead.
Like the majority of our advanced health and social care training courses, this diploma contains mandatory units, but you can also choose optional units that suit your specific role and current responsibilities.
To achieve the full diploma, learners must earn a minimum of 95 credits. 80 of these come from mandatory units, and the rest from supplemental.
