Course Outline

Learners can choose to take this accredited Level 4 Train the Trainer Infection Prevention and Control course as a standalone specialist train the trainer qualification. Or alternatively, for learners who do not currently hold a recognized teaching qualification, then this specialist Infection Prevention and Control Train the Trainer qualification can be studied alongside our nationally accredited Level 3 or Level 4 Award in Education and Training.

This training course is a specialist Train the Trainer course which qualifies the delegate to teach a range of Infection Prevention and Control training courses to health and social care workers. This course covers the knowledge and learning outcomes of RQF (QCF) Level 2 Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control.

Who is this Infection Control Training Aimed at

All trainers who have a responsibility (or wish) to teach Infection Prevention and Control to health and social care workers.

Assessment and Award

The course assessment is aimed at ensuring staff have gained the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver subjects relating infection prevent and control. On successful completion candidates will be awarded with a Level 4 Train the Trainer in Infection Prevention and Control and a Level 3 or 4 Award in Education and Training.
