Anaphylaxis Training Course
Our Anaphylaxis training course has been designed for anyone who needs training in how and when to use an auto injector for the treatment of anaphylaxis.
The Dysphagia Training and Swallow Assessments course has been designed to develop delegates’ awareness of dysphagia, its causes and the potential complications to the service user, and the groups of people who are at higher risk.
The dysphagia training course will also cover swallow assessments and risk management strategies of caring and supporting service users with swallowing difficulties. In addition to this, the course will address the importance of multidisciplinary involvement in the assessment and planning of care interventions.
To ensure that your team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills on completion of the dysphagia training course, we offer fully bespoke training. We are able to change the content of the course based on the specific needs of your organisation. Delivered by expert healthcare educators, you can be confident that your staff are competent in current best practice related to dysphagia and swallow assessments.
On completion of the Dysphagia Training and Swallow Assessments course, we will provide the necessary competency proformas required to ensure safe and evidenced-based clinical practice. This will then allow the Registered Provider to ensure mandatory competency assessments are completed within the workplace by a nominated mentor/supervisor.
Should you need further advice regarding competency assessments, or if you would like our Registered Nurse Trainers to provide onsite competency assessments then please do not hesitate to contact us.
