Internal Verifier Iqa V1 Training Course
Course Description
This new RQF (QCF) Internal Verifier (IV) / Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) training course has replaced the old V1 and D34 internal verifier awards. Commonly referred to as TAQA (Training, Assessment, and Quality Assurance) the new internal verifiers training courses are a Qualification and Credit Framework (RQF (QCF)) suite of Level 4 Awards and Certificate level internal verifier qualifications.
The RQF (QCF) Internal Verifier / IQA suite of qualifications are designed to support the internal verification, also referred to as internal quality assurance or internal moderation, of the new RQF (QCF) qualifications. This includes; NVQ’s, RQF (QCF)’s and Apprenticeships. They are suitable for anyone who internally quality assures the assessment of learning. The TAQA IV / IQA verifier qualifications are listed below.

Duration
The Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is the highest RQF (QCF) qualification available to internal verifiers, moderators and quality assurance practitioners alike that replaces the old V1 / D34 awards. This IV training course has a guided learning hour (GLH) requirement of 90. Due to our extensive experience delivering IQA and IV training courses and qualifications it is possible to combine theory and practical requirements and include all work undertaken for your portfolio of evidence towards this GLH requirement. Therefore, it is our experience that most trainee Internal Verifiers complete their course within 6 weeks from enrolment.

LEVEL 4 AWARD IN UNDERSTANDING THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESSES AND PRACTICE RQF (QCF)
This award is a knowledge-only unit for those IV’s and IQA’s who need the knowledge and understanding of internal quality assurance but who are not expected to practice solely as an internal verifier.
LEVEL 4 AWARD IN THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESSES AND PRACTICE RQF (QCF)
This IQA qualification is for Internal Verifiers and Practitioners who conduct internal quality assurance (Internal verification) of the assessment process from within a training centre or organisation (college).
LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATE IN LEADING THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESSES AND PRACTICE RQF (QCF) - V1 / D34 REPLACEMENT
For internal verifier practitioners who are expected to lead and manage the internal quality assurance (IQA) process and have a responsibility for managing the quality of the assessments and the performance of assessors.
Assessment and Certification
Trainee internal verifiers and internal quality assurance practitioners are required to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and relevant IV / IQA skills to be awarded with their respective internal verifier qualification. Depending upon the IV / IQA qualification chosen, the trainee IV may also be expected to carry out a minimum four assessments on your two assessor candidates.
